ConverterTechnology helps large enterprises upgrade to the newest versions of Microsoft Office and Windows.

Rain first began working with ConverterTechnology during the summer of 2009. During our initial introduction Rain was asked to develop a 3-month plan that would promote the company’s service in a unique way.

The initial meeting was attended by the company’s President and Director of Development. Listening to them talk, and the different perspectives they offered, resulted in the idea – offer a series of podcasts that addresses the unique challenges that enterprises face when starting an upgrade project – from both the “technical” and “business” view.

The podcasts were recorded and edited by Rain, were hosted on a microsite that Rain designed and promoted through email blasts – all of which Rain handled. That project was soon followed by a site redesign later that year.

Following the successful launch of the site, Rain was asked to develop a sustainable marketing plan for 2010.
Rain’s plan was based on the premise that ConverterTechnology should be developing new news features each month. These monthly features are:

  • Developed into press releases that are sent out via wire service and pro-active follow up
  • Developed into email blasts and sent out to prospects
  • Posted to the website
  • Posted on Twitter and LinkedIN

All these items are handled exclusively by Rain, letting ConverterTechnology focus on sales and the development of new products.

In 2011 our involvement expanded to include:

  • Monthly Google analytics tracking and reporting
  • Pay-per-click campaigns
  • Lead research and outreach through LinkedIN
  • List building and outreach
  • Creative projects as needed

“Essentially, Rain IS our marketing department. Steve (Casey) participates in all of our planning sessions with both the executive team and the sales team. He comes to our monthly team meetings with unique ideas and solutions, which are promptly acted upon. And, if something isn’t working, they quickly change focus and come up with a new idea….always staying on monthly budget. Each of us at Converter is tasked with a wide variety of jobs. It’s nice to know that we have a resource out there that is working on our behalf as an extension of our internal team.” Shawn Allaway, President
