Software Secure is a software company that has developed a remote proctor device, “SecureExam,” that enables distance learning students to take exams anywhere, anytime, while still maintaining the same exam-room integrity as found in a proctored classroom. The device addresses every area of exam security by controlling the computer settings, and authenticating the student’s identity; all while watching and listening to the exam environment.

The company had made considerable in-roads in the college market as online class options were becoming more plentiful and remote secure testing environments became a necessity. Software Secure wanted to advance the success they had achieved in the collegiate market and bring that same secure learning environment to the business community for the purposes of  professional certification.

The goals and features of the new site were:

  • Bring the site up to current web standards and give it a fresh look
  • Make the site easy to navigate and get the user to the desired information quickly
  • Continue to support the growth of the education market, while developing strategies for other LOBs (professional development, military, etc.)
  • Have the site support the initial work done on the Key Word Analysis
  • Site functionality to include a system for 3-4 bloggers, inclusion of Google language translation tool and 2 forms pages linked to Salesforce

To ensure that both audiences were addressed on the site, Rain suggested promoting the features through videos featuring Software Secure Executives, Sales Personnel and Software Engineers. The videos are prominently featured on the home page. The navigation is arranged in a way that users of the site can look for information by problem they want to solve, by product name, or by the two industries served: education or business. The site also features previously recorded demos, case studies and white papers.
